NETWORK HARDWARE RESALE EXPANDS RESELLER RELATIONSHIP WITH FORCE10 NETWORKS TO DISTRIBUTE ITS RELIABLE, RESILIENT NETWORKING PRODUCT PORTFOLIO NATIONWIDE

Gaining Distributor Status Reinforces NHR’s Proven Ability To Expedite Delivery and Deployment of Scalable Network Gear

SAN JOSE, Calif., December 17, 2008 – Network Hardware Resale (NHR), the leading provider of pre-owned and new networking equipment, today announced the expansion of its relationship with Force10 Networks Inc., a pioneer in building and securing high-performance networks. The strategic partnership has been extended to reflect NHR’s new status as a distributor of Force10’s full line of resilient and scalable Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet switches and routers.

As a distributor of Force10’s Reliable Networking™ product portfolio, NHR will reinforce its ability to meet ever-increasing demands for rapid delivery and deployment of high-performance network switches and routers. The new designation also elevates the role NHR plays as a valued channel partner, having served as a member of Force10 Networks’ PartnerForce authorized reseller program since September 2006. Since then, NHR has sold Force10 products, including the E-Series  family of switches and routers, the C- Series line of resilient switches, the S-Series family of access switches and the P10 security appliance.

According to Holger Peters, sales director for NHR, the company now can offer greater choices when it comes to supporting high-performance, mission-critical network environments. “NHR works with some of the most demanding network environments in the country and many of these customers are ideally suited for Force10’s advanced networking technology,” he explains.  “As a Force10 distributor, we can accelerate the delivery of Force10 products while ensuring the same high level of responsive service and support our customers expect.”

Under the terms of the nationwide agreement, NHR will maintain an inventory of Force10 products at its distribution facilities in California and Texas. “NHR has an excellent reputation for addressing customers’ networking equipment needs reliably, efficiently and cost-effectively,” says Andrew Stewart, VP of global channels at Force10. “As a Force10 distributor, NHR will be even better positioned to rapidly deliver Force10’s efficient network infrastructure to data center and enterprise networking customers throughout North America.”

NHR currently offers complete network fulfillment, asset recovery, network support and disaster recovery solutions to more than 10,000 customers worldwide.
